We were both living in San Francisco. Our respective roommates, DJ and Jady, were friends with each other and asked to set us up on a blind date. Cassie received an email of photos of Mike and a link to his LinkedIn, while Mike received only Cassie's Facebook profile photo. On October 12, 2013, we agreed to meet at Amelie, a wine bar on Polk Street, and have been together ever since.

A few weeks after we just purchased our first home together, Mike proposed at the Santa Barbara Harbor, on a bench overlooking the little paradise we love so much. He surprised Cassie by flying down all her friends from San Francisco to celebrate their engagement, and then treating her to a surprise trip to Maui!

After postponing our December 2020 wedding due to Covid-19, we decided to exchange vows in an intimate ceremony on the beach in Wailea, Maui, HI. We are excited to keep the celebrations going with a friends-only weekend of fun in Mexico in December 2021.
